What a project manager does is different from what a
functional or operations manager would do. The project manager is the person
who is assigned by the company or organization to lead the team that is
responsible for achieving the project objectives. The functional manager focuses
on providing management oversight for a functional or business unit. An operations
manager is responsible for making sure that business operations are efficient.
